Veigar Ölnir Gunnarsson
Veigar Ölnir Gunnarsson (B. 1992) is a visual artist from Reykjavík. He graduated from the Fine Art Department at The Icelandic Academy of the Arts in the spring of 2017 with a stopover in an exchange program at Konstfack in Stockholm. Since graduating Veigar has lived and worked on his art both in Reykjavík and in the Hague. He uses multiple mediums where ideas of mutual human experience leads the process. In his works he searches his surroundings for things or moments that resonate with inner experiences and uses in works of sculptures, videos, performances and photography.
