Samsetningar

Brynja Steinþórsdóttir and Elín Edda make up the installation duo Samsetningar. Elín studied graphic design at Listaháskóli Íslands and is currently studying creative writing at Háskóli Íslands while Brynja studies fine art at The Royal Academy of Art, The Hague. The collaboration between the two started when they met at Lunga in 2016 where they created their first installations but have since then shown works at Kimi, Mengi, Stálsmiðjan and in Listvísi. When working together they like capturing ideas from mundane conversations as if in a jam session and often draw inspiration from common interests such as text, locations and pranksters.
